This new category for the citizens aviation movement is very important. If we analyze the civil and military aviation industry and the corporate globalization process to be socially and ecologically unacceptable, citizens have to resist and rise up. The tyranny of aviation is to be confronted by a rebellion of aware citizens concerned about the quality of life of people, other species and planet. Thus, a major linkage is to be made with the social justice (anti-globalization) movement in order to make the aviation industry sustainable, equitable and accountable.
